The Southern built 100 of these vans between 1931 and 1934 to carry fresh meat from the West Country to principle markets in London and the Midlands. They lasted in service into the 1960s. This kit is supplied with pre-coloured moulded parts although painting can improve the appearance. Additional parts to enable the vehicle to be modelled incorporating modifications made to the prototypes during their working life are included where appropriate.
